Excellent drawing of the Caped Crusader by Nik Poliwko....

And then he played around with coloring it in Photoshop, and when I saw this I loved it. Then I found the B&W copy, and saw the picture in a different way, so I asked for a copy to color...

And I came up with this:

CURSE OF THE VESSEL - Fan Art

The Curse of the Vessel is a comic proposal currently battling it out on a comic-off over at Small Press Idol. This is a Bill Kraiter drawing of Zicari (in the background) and then the stars of the show, Vincent and Marina. Marina was GORGEOUS before I even colored her, so I couldn't wait to bring her to life. Bill told me to add the ghosts, and so I did. :-)


This is the fan art we posted on the Small Press Idol website:
(Vincent's eyes are glowing because he the Vessel -- often possessed by spirits.)

And here is the uber-fancy mock cover they didn't want to post, but it's too cool. *heh* The bar code is completely fake and ripped from another comic book, so don't go try and trace those bars or numbers or whatever!!!
